Your picture, your masterpiece. That's my concept. Send me a picture of your pet, loved one, or whatever you like, and I'll give it special treatment that will preserve its meaniing for generations.

The world is overflowing with photographs. Most of them will gather dust in a closet until someone throws them away, especially after we go on to our reward. A framed artistic image, on the other hand, will not easily be forgotten. Our Time and Place is about enshrining our fondest memories so we can enjoy them now and others can enjoy them later.

I apply colors, tones, and textures to your photo, very much in the spirit of the Pictorialist style of fine art photography that started in the late 1800s. With my 20 years of experience in darkroom photography and graphic arts, I've come up with my own unique methods not available anywhere else. Also know that these images are designed to look best when printed. What you see on screen only conveys a general idea ofwhat the printed images can look like.

While there are many fine digital artists working today, none are able to offer what I do in quite the same way, partly because what I do is the result of years of experiment and practice. You will see Google ads on my pages offering comparable digital art services. I encourage you to compare their product with mine. I believe you will find mine to be one of the best values around.

Professional photographers do not give away negatives, hoping you will order reprints through them. Not so with me. You get to keep the actual files and are free to give them to friends and family, helping to ensure their longevity. You also have the freedom to print as many times as you like. However, if you intend to resell my images, I do ask that you pay an additional fee up front or a percentage of the sales. Call to discuss.

I'm also open to custom projects that do not start with photographs you already have. I also do 3D graphics and can mix and match scences and objects composed in 3D. Again, call to discuss. I'd be glad to show you samples.

Prints up to 13"x19" are made with an 8-color Epson Photo R2400 printer on archival photo-glossy paper. Inks are non-water soluble and expected to maintain brilliancy for 75 or so years, after that fading into artistic patinas as do all works of art. Larger prints are available.
